Nokia Lumia 1520 pre-orders available in US now

Late last month we mentioned that the Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone would be an AT&T exclusive in the US. One of the things we didn't know was exactly when pre-orders would kick off for the device in the US. Nokia has announced that pre-orders for the Lumia 1520 began as of yesterday.

The Nokia 1520 will feature 16 GB of integrated storage and will officially launch on November 22. Users that sign up with a new two-year agreement at AT&T will be able to get the device for $199.99. The phone can be pre-ordered online or in your local AT&T store.

AT&T will offer the Lumia 1520 in multiple colors including matte black, matte white, matte yellow, and glossy red. Nokia also announced that AT&T will be offering a version of the 1520 with 32 GB of storage in the near future. We already know the features of the 1520, but if you missed them all run down the main features.

One of the biggest features is the 20-megapixel PureView camera featuring ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization. The camera also has zoom and oversampling technology and features Nokia Refocus allowing users to take a picture and focus later. The smartphone has a six-inch screen supporting full HD resolution and uses a QUALCOMM Snapdragon 800 chip with 2 GB of memory. Buyers of the phone will also get a $20 credit for Windows Phone apps are games from the Windows Phone store. AT&T is also offering 50 GB of free AT&T Locker cloud storage.
