Nokia’s Bicycle Charger Kit turned out to be a surprisingly popular concept when the company first showed it back in June 2010, with calls to release it not just in the developing countries originally targeted. Now the Nokia DC-14 Bicycle Charger is finally on sale, priced at £25 in Nokia’s UK store, as well as from various Nokia stores across Europe.
If you keep to 14km/h or above – about 8.7mph – then you’ll supposedly be rejuicing your Nokia at the same rate as a regular AC adapter. It’s also dirt and weather resistent, and the phone itself is held on with a couple of rubber straps.
