Nokia announces N95 8GB

The same multimedia power house as before has just got an 8GB storage upgrade. First some stats though, 2.8" QVGA screen, HSDPA, EGSM900, GSM850/1800/1900, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens.

WLAN b and g with UPnP support, USB 2.0 with TV Out, 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also A2DP Bluetooth support as well as an IrDA port. Oh, and did I mention there was built in GPS? It even comes with Nokia Maps and A-GPS support.

The music player supports MP3, AAC, eAAC, eAAC+, M4A, and WMA. It will play music for up to 10 hours, there is an FM radio, an integrated speaker, and dedicated music keys. There is a two way sliding feature. And it will store up to 3600 photos or 20 hours of VGA video at up to 30fps.

PictBridge is supported. As for business functionality it supports SMTP, IMAP4, and POP3 for email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF file viewing, and synchronization of contacts, calendars, To-Do lists, Notes, and Email. There are also Recorder, Calculator, Clock, and converter functions.

So on top of all of that, the thing is beautiful. Rightly so, it comes with a beautiful price too, ringing up at 560 Euros. Money well spent though as it's a Nokia and should be nearly indestructible and highly functional.
