Nissan "Winter Warrior" trio revealed for Chicago Auto Show

This week the folks at Nissan have revealed three new vehicles – concepts the lot of them. Each of them is ready to roll with winter weather preparedness – extreme winter weather preparedness, with full snow track systems. They're all red, too. They can pretty much take on any set of elements you're going to toss at them. Here you'll find the custom-built Pathfinder, Murano and Rogue, all prepared for their first showing at the Chicago Auto Show.

This is the "Winter Warrior" collection, all transformed from their original stock builds to "Warrior" mode. Each rolls with a Nissan Design America (NDA) designed custom body wrap, as well. They're all jacked up with what Nissan calls Genuine Nissan Accessories "for the outdoor enthusiast."

Above you'll see this winter monsters right where they belong – out in the snow. The Nissan Rogue, Nissan Murano, and Nissan Pathfinder each roll with a track system from DOMINATOR Tracks, American Track Truck, Inc., Chassell, Michigan.

Each wrap you're seeing was designed by Nissan Design America, La Jolla, California. Each wrap was fabricated and applied by 12-Point SignWorks, Franklin, Tennessee, and all work with custom Matte Red Chrome finishing as well as additional graphics that feature "a unique black "track" design and Nissan "Winter Warrior" logos".

In the Rogue you'll find All-Season Floor Mats (4-piece / Black), Roof Rail Crossbars, a 9 x 9 Hatch Tent, Carpeted Cargo Protector (2-row/2-piece) (in Beige), and a Chrome rear bumper protector. For the Murano you'll find Cargo Area Protector, Cargo Organizer, All-Season floor mats (exciting!), 9 x 9 hatch tent, roof rail crossbars (silvery!), and satin chrome rear bumper protection.

In the Pathfinder you'll find those fabulous all-season floor mats, a cargo area protector, hood protector, 9 x 9 hatch tent, stainless steel rear bumper protector, and side window deflectors.

"With the Winter Warriors, we wanted to take that idea to the extreme, enhancing the vehicles' advanced systems with special snow tracks, Genuine Nissan Accessories, and a custom exterior appearance." said Christian Meunier, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan North America, Inc.

"With their solid Nissan underpinnings and exceptional ground clearance, these Winter Warriors are serious, extreme weather machines, not toys – but they sure are fun."

Above and below you'll find a collection of video and photos of these Winter Warrior Concepts. We'd most certainly like one to roll on through the winter months up here in North Dakota, what with the complete absence of state or city-run plows in the winter months. For real, no kidding!
