Nintendo Switch weekly eShop update: Blast from the past

As we close out another week, it's time to discover what's on the deck for the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo usually delivers these weekly updates on Thursdays, but for whatever reason, it published this week's roster of titles a day late. Regardless, there are plenty of games heading to Switch in the coming days, so check below for a full list of upcoming releases.

Nintendo is actually choosing to focus on three releases in particular this week. First up is the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, which includes a variety of games from SNK's four decade history. There have been 18 games revealed for the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, though both the console and arcade versions of many of those games are available in this compilation.

Next is Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun, which is a console version of the popular arcade rhythm game from Japan. The final title Nintendo chose to highlight is Crashlands, an ARPG with base building and crafting elements that first landed on PC a couple of years ago. Have a look at the full list of releases for the week ahead below:

So, there aren't a ton of big releases landing on the Switch this week, as the list is comprised pretty much entirely of indie titles. That changes next week, as the eShop will become home to Pokemon Let's Go, which will take their places as some of the first Pokemon games on the Switch. Are you going to be picking up a copy of Pokemon Let's Go when it launches next week? Head down to the comments section and let us know!
