Nintendo Switch eShop is serving up a ton of sushi this week

One of the more interesting announcements to come out of Nintendo's 2017 E3 presentation was that of Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido. At first, the game was only announced for the 3DS, but in March of this year, a Nintendo Switch release was confirmed as well. We're quickly closing in on launch, as it's one of the games landing on the eShop this week.

In fact, Sushi Striker is arguably the headliner of this week's eShop update. Sushi Striker is billed as an "action-RPG-puzzle" game that tasks players with matching plates and sushi types as they battle to "end the Empire's tyrannical monopoly of the world's sushi supply." You'll also befriend creatures called Sushi Sprites as you play, so if sushi is an important part of your everyday life, you might want to have a look at this title.

Other headliners for this week include The Banner Saga 2 and BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE for you fighting fans out there. There's also a new Shaq-Fu game hitting the eShop, which is perfect if you somehow didn't get enough of that franchise in the 1990s. Have a look at the full list of games landing on the eShop over the course of the next week:
