Nintendo Switch eShop has a huge week ahead of it

With the arrival of another Thursday comes a new batch of games for the Nintendo Switch eShop. In recent months, many of the weekly updates to the Switch eShop have been fairly tame, but this week's update definitely takes things to another level. There are a bunch of great games hitting the eShop this week, so let's dive into the Switch's new arrivals.

First and foremost, we have the release of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition to look forward to. This is, of course, a port of the Wii U game Hyrule Warriors, which gives The Legend of Zelda franchise a Dynasty Warriors spin. It's a fast-paced, hectic game to be sure, and one worth checking out if you like hack and slash titles that pit you against hundreds of enemies at a time.

While Nintendo's first-party offering might be the marquee star of this week's eShop update, there's plenty more to get excited about. Runner 3 and Little Nightmares Complete Edition will both be launching later in the week, and Mega Man fanatics will want to pick up both Legacy Collections, which are launching on the same day. Have a look at the full list of games landing on the eShop below.

This is just the beginning of what should be a big year for the Nintendo Switch. We're just a couple of weeks away from discovering what Nintendo has in store for the second half of the year, as it will be showing off a bunch of games lined up for a 2018 release at E3 in June. One of those is Super Smash Bros and, if recent rumors are to be believed, we could see Switch's own Pokemon game launch before the year is over as well. While we wait for E3 to roll around, hop down to the comments section and let us know if you're going to pick any of these new games this week.
