Nexus 5 details add up: appearing in the UK and Netherlands UPDATE: and Israel

This morning the LG-made Nexus 5 appears to be showing up in-stock (or nearly in-stock) across the world. One of the several stock images appearing this morning comes from Carphone Warehouse, a carrier inside the UK that's generally got leaks such as this just as often as the rest of the leaks universe. Another leak this morning comes from a Dutch website that's contacted a local retailer and found – via pre-order information – that their stock of Nexus 5 devices will be arriving as soon as Wednesday – making way for a Halloween or November 1st launch.

Availability of the Nexus 5 appear to be in our midst. Word that the Nexus 5 was going to be available in late October may end up being proven true as a Halloween launch would add up quite well with the Android 4.4 KitKat tie-in. The same could be true of an early November launch, of course, as there are still 18 days left in the KitKat candy promotion as such.

UPDATE: LG Israel – via local brand RONLIGHT have confirmed a November 5th event for Android 4.4 KitKat on the Nexus 4 via TG Spot. This could very well mean that the software will hit larger areas in the world such as Israel in the immediate future, but looks to have little to do with the Nexus 5. Judge as you might.

The Dutch site suggests that the Nexus 5 will be arriving with a 459 Euro price tag for a 16GB internal storage edition. This pricing would suggest that the Nexus 4 would indeed be keeping a lower point while the Nexus 5 days the higher, the Nexus 4 here rebooted in a 4G LTE mode. This would allow the Google Nexus universe to hold sway over two different display sizes in phones as well as two different display sizes in tablets.

It's also been suggested today that the Nexus 10 2013 edition is on its way, complete with some rather odd and off-putting tips. The tip we're seeing here from the Netherlands seems a bit more on-the-level. The original source at Tweakers have since earlier this morning added an update suggesting the carrier, BelSimpel, had taken down their pre-listing page and suggested they never had official word in the first place – oddness!

Further details from Google+ user Jasper Vinkenvleugel on the link of Taylow Wimberly suggests that the (relatively high) pricing on the device may be due to LG selling the phone in the Netherlands rather than Google. It's likely the Google-sold version in the USA and in the UK will be a bit cheaper.

Inside the UK you'll find the White version of the LG Nexus 5 appearing in stock to the tune of 1,500 units. This local stock enquiry was brought to you by an anonymous source speaking with Android Police, one that they find reliable. This source appears to be using the same "archaic" system as leaking last year's Nexus 4 from Carphone Warehouse in the UK. It'd be extremely strange if they only had the white, but it's likely they've got just as many black in stock at the same time – one at a time, after all.

Thanks for the tip, Brian!

Have a peek at the Nexus 5 timeline below and keep your eyes open – there's little doubt now that Google will be announcing a phone on its own, if not the phone, the larger tablet, and the operating system update all at once – soon!
