Nextbook Premium 8SE tablet runs Android on the cheap

If you're in the market for a new tablet and don't want to spend the money an iPad costs, Nextbook has a new offering that runs Android a low price. The new tablet is called the Nextbook Premium8SE and it offers and eight-inch TFT color display and runs the Android 4.0 operating system. The best part about the little tablet is the price with an MSRP of $229.99.

The screen of the tablet is touch sensitive, and the machine has integrated Wi-Fi. It also comes at 25 preloaded e-books and has an integrated front camera for video conferencing. The screen resolution is 800 x 480, and the tablet has 4 GB of internal storage. When you need more storage the tablet also has a microSD card slot.

The book reading app the tablet uses is by Barnes & Noble. The tablet supports Adobe Flash 11 and the front facing camera has 0.3 megapixel resolution. The tablet certainly offers no groundbreaking specifications or features, but it seems like a solid eight-inch screen offering for slightly less than $230.
