Next Android version codename revealed, "Gingerbread"

Google gave us Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, and Froyo.  And this time as we reach into the Android version sweets jar, we've pulled out the next version codename, soon to be known as "Gingerbread".

Google's Android Linux kernel guru Brian Swetland revealed the name in a discussion on LWN.net based on Android kernels.  We now have the name of the next two builds, in the way of:  "This week we're finalizing our move to 2.6.32 for the Android "Froyo" release, and we'll likely be on .33 or .34 for "Gingerbread"."  Thoughts for "H"?  So another sugar rush from Google, but nothing of substance quite yet.  Should we even bother thinking up names for "H"?
