New Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 teaser confirms rear camera [Video]

The fast-approaching Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has made a fleeting appearance in a new teaser video from the company. Promised for later this month at CTIA 2011, there are no specs revealed for the new tablet but its brief sighting is enough to confirm a rear camera with flash.Video after the cut

There's also what looks to be a custom UI, or at least some custom TouchWiz widgets, in one of the screengrabs (with some level tweaking) in the gallery below. Whether that means Samsung has modified Android 3.0 Honeycomb – which the 8.9-inch tablet is expected to launch running – remains to be seen; the company left well alone with the OS on the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and we're hoping it showed the same restraint this time around.

Interestingly, the bowed back panel seen in the first teaser photo, to accommodate the headphone socket, doesn't appear to be here. We'll have to wait to see exactly how skinny the new Samsung is at CTIA later in the month.
