Netflix and NBC Universal agree to streaming deal for past season shows

The CEO being a tool aside, Netflix has recently been making it hard for me to not sign up for streaming alone. Netflix and NBC Universal have announced that they have signed a streaming agreement that will make prior seasons of some of the most popular shows from the network available for streaming.

The multi-year deal will start next week and adds some cool content to the service. Episodes from every season of "Saturday Night Live" will be offered along with day after broadcasts of new episodes in the 2010 to 2012 seasons. All old episodes of "30 Rock", "The Office", and "Law and Order: SVU" will be offered as well.

Other cool shows on the network will be added from USA with "Psych", "Monk", "In Plain Sight" and more. The coolest addition for me and other geeks will be all the episodes of the new "Battlestar Galactica" show along with "Eureka" and "Destination Truth."
