NEC launches M332XS and M352WS short throw projectors

NEC has rolled out a pair of new projectors that fall into the M Series short throw projector range. Short throw projectors are able to provide a large viewable image from closer to the projection wall or surface. The two new projectors include the M332XS and the M352WS models.

The projectors have many of the same features with support for 3D HDMI and 3D Blu-ray players. They also have variable audio-out for external speakers controlled by the projector remote. Both use DLP BrilliantColor technology.

The projectors are also equipped with a top cover lamp allowing the lamps to be replaced without having to remove the projector from the mount. Connectivity options on the projectors include dual HDMI outputs and optional WiFi connectivity is available. Both projectors feature internal 20W speakers.

The projectors will also turn themselves off when no signal is detected and feature low power consumption standby modes. The difference between the two projectors is brightness and resolution. The M332XS has 3300 lumens and a XGA resolution. The M352WS has 3500 lumens of brightness and WXGA resolution. The M332XS will sell for $959 with the M352WS selling for $1069 with both shipping in April.
