MSI Wind U200 CULV ultraportable ships in 3-4 weeks

We've not heard much regarding MSI's Wind U200, their first CULV ultraportable, since we saw it fondled on video back in May, but the 12-inch notebook seems finally to be showing up for pre-order.  German online retailer notebook.de are listing the U200 – which uses Intel's 1.3GHz Pentium US2700 processor – for €629 ($906).

That gets you a WXGA LED-backlit display, 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard-drive and WiFi b/g/n.  There's also gigabit ethernet, an HDMI port, 1.3-megapixel webcam and a 6-cell battery.  Other ports include three USB 2.0, a 4-in-1 card reader and VGA, together with audio in/out.

The whole thing weighs just under 1.5kg and resembles a cross between a Wind netbook and a machine from MSI's general notebook range.  Performance from the CULV processor isn't going to be groundbreaking, either, but we'll have to wait the estimated 3-4 weeks before orders start to know that for sure.
