MSI tosses FX600 onto market at surprisingly low price

A week or so back we talked about the new MSI FX600 notebook that the company unveiled. MSI didn't offer pricing or availability information when the machine launched, but we figured it would be expensive considering the specs it offers. The FX600 has now hit the market.

If you buy the FX600-002US version of the notebook you can pick it up now for $899.99. That is hardly a lot of money for a feature packed notebook like the FX600. The machine has a 15.6-inch screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT325M discrete graphics with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of system memory, and a 500GB HDD.

Other features include a THX four speaker sound system, HDMI output, 802.11n WiFi, and an integrated 720p webcam. The machine runs on an Intel Core i5-450M CPU and uses Windows 7 Home Premium for the OS. This machine should offer some very impressive performance for the price tag.
