MSI CR720 big screen notebook breaks cover

When it comes to shopping for a notebook there are those that look for small and portable machines if they are on the go a lot. The user who wants a notebook that will be mostly used in the home or office often looks for a machine with a larger screen for more usability. MSI has unveiled a new larger screen notebook called the CR720.

The machine sports a big 17.3-inch LED backlit LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 900. MSI doesn't get specific on the CPU that will be used saying only the machine will come with 2010 Intel Core processors. The notebook uses the chicklet keyboard so popular in the market today and has a seamless touch pad.

The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium and the machine uses the Intel HM55 chipset. It can be fitted with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 500GB of storage. The machine also has a memory card reader, HDMI output, 6-cell battery, and 802.11b/g/draft N WiFi. The sound system has two speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Pricing and availability for the CR720 are unknown.
