Motorola has become a very prolific maker of Android phones, which is a good thing considering before Android the company was making some very boring handsets and hadn't had a popular device since the Razr years ago. The company now has some of the hottest Android devices around like the DROID and others.

Motorola has pulled the wraps off a new Android handset at MWC in Spain called the QUENCH with MOTOBLUR. The device is a touchscreen smartphone with an onscreen QWERTY keyboard. The screen of the QUENCH measures 3.1-inches and is touch enabled with gesture support for pinch and zoom. It also has a touchpad.

Other features include integrated Adobe Flash Light. The QUENCH will hit the US in Q1 2010 where it will be known as the CLIQ XT. Lots of social networking features are built into the QUENCH with apps for Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. The handset has a 5MP camera with LED flash and autofocus along with stereo Bluetooth and aGPS. The handset will be a T-Mobile exclusive in the US.
