Motorola Moto X heads to UK and Europe for February launch

The Motorola Moto X smartphone has been available here in the US for a while now. The smartphone proved to be popular enough in December that the load on the servers kept the company from being able to sell the smartphone like it wanted. That resulted in an extended sale period for the device.

If you live outside the US in Europe or the UK, you will have your chance to get the Moto X soon. The flagship Moto X smartphone will land in Europe and the UK on February 1. The smartphone will launch specifically in the UK, France, and Germany.

The Moto X will sell for £380 or 399 euros. That price will get buyers a SIM-free smartphone and they can find their own carrier. The Moto X will be available at several retailers in the UK such as Phones 4U, Carphone Warehouse, Amazon, and others. The white version will be exclusive in the UK to Phones 4U for three months.

German shoppers can get the device from Amazon, O2, and several other retailers. The Moto X runs Android 4.4.2. The Moto X has a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 with 329ppi. It also features a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor running at 1.7GHz.
