Microsoft and Nokia Have Something to Share

Mobile giants Microsoft and Nokia are going to tell the rest of the world what they're cooking up tomorrow, but for now, we have rumors. Microsoft has been generally expanding the usability of Office 2010 on multiple platforms, and it's a pretty safe assumption that Nokia will become a large partner in that expansion here shortly.

An official partnership would benefit both companies without a shadow of a doubt, and would allow Nokia users the ability to access the application(s) without the use of the browser.

Competition in the mobile market is cut-throat at this point, especially with Android blossoming as well as it is, and Palm's introduction of WebOS, so it's no surprise that Microsoft would try to gain some foothold with one of the largest phone manufacturers.  We'll keep you posted as to what comes of the meeting tomorrow.
