Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 4Matic Shooting Brake has 306hp

Feast your eyes on the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 4Matic Shooting Brake, a car that won't come to the U.S. Not that Mercedes specifically said no for the U.S., but we never get the slick Shooting Brakes stateside. The car has an AMG-spec radiator grille and AMG Line front apron with flics around the front air inlet grilles and front splitter.

The car rolls on 5-twin-spoke 18-inch wheels, with 19-inch units available as an option. In the back, the car has a rear apron with diffuser insert and four vertical fins. AMG offers several options on the car that buyers can add to up the style and performance of the vehicle.

One option is the AMG Night Package that has design features in black including the front splitter, inserts in the side sill panels, and black chrome tailpipe trim. The AMG Aerodynamics Package adds a modified front splitter and flics in the outer air inlet grilles and an airflow break-away edge in high gloss black on the roof edge spoiler.

AMG also offers 19-inch 5-twin spoke wheels in high-gloss black, 19-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels in high gloss black, and 19-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels in matte black. The car has seats in Artico man-made leather and DINAMICA microfiber in black with a red double topstitch or in ARTIC in grey and black.

The infotainment system is the latest MBUX unit with AMG-specific displays. The multifunction steering wheel has a flat bottom and Nappa leather. Power for the car is via a 2.0L M 260 four-cylinder making 306 hp and 400Nm torque. To reach that output the engine uses turbocharging and a water charge air cooler. Power goes to all four wheels via an AMG Speedshift DCT 7G dual-clutch transmission. Active dampers keep the car planted and it has high-performance braking. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
