Maserati to make only 200 Ghibli Ribelle cars

Maserati has announced a slick new limited-edition car that is called the Ghibli Ribelle. Only 200 units will be made in the production run and the special edition can be purchased with all available engine options. That means a 275hp diesel, 350hp gas, or 430hp gas engine.

Ribelle will be available starting in October and the name of the car comes from the special "Nero Ribelle" mica color that is used. The color appears to be a very shiny black. The special edition paint color is matched with glossy 19-inch Proteo alloy wheels with contrasting red laser etched details.

Maserati also paints the brake calipers red. The red and black scheme carries over to the interior with a red and black dash, black door panels, and red central armrests. The steering wheel is covered in black leather with tone-on-tone stitching and the 12-position memory sport seats are covered in black and red with contrasting stitching.

A plaque is inside the car with the Ribelle name and the fact that the ride is limited to only 200 units. The console is finished in black Piano wood. Maserati is offering the car with an optional Ribelle Plus package with more luxury and features.

Among the features are laminated privacy windows for thermal and sound insulation, full LED Matrix headlamps, Harman Kardon sound, and a sunroof that opens. This special edition car won't be offered in the US with sales in the EMEA region only, pricing is unannounced.
