Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale packs a serious punch

In the world of Italian exotic sports cars, a few names stick in my mind. Those names are Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini. All three have a penchant for producing some seriously fast cars. Compared to Ferrari and Lamborghini, Maserati often has almost as much focus on luxury as performance. Maserati has a new version of its sweet GranTurismo sports car called the GranTurismo MC Stradale.

The MC Stradale version of the GranTurismo gets a 4.7L V8 engine pumping our 450-horsepower. According to Maserati, that engine will push the MC Stradale to a top speed of 186 mpg thanks to its extra grunt compared to the normal GranTurismo and improved aerodynamics. Other than performance, the car looks fast sitting still.

The car apparently has all the luxury touches inside that the GranTurismo S offers. However, the MC Stradale can only be enjoyed by two people at once since it lacks the backseat that other GranTurismo versions have. The car looks good, but I am not such a fan of the front bumper area.
