Magneto, your coffee table is ready

If you can look around the cheesy 60's wood grain finish of the Float coffee table this may be the single greatest piece of furniture ever invented. The thing is made from 64 different cubes that are connected by wire on the inside.

The cool part is that the wire doesn't give the table all the support it needs. The cubes are mostly held in place by magnetism. I guess the wires are there to keep the magnetic blocks from moving around and crashing the whole thing when someone leans on it.

The downside to a table like this is that if you spill a drink the clean up would be a nightmare. That and I would hate to sit my notebook on a tablet that bloats thanks to the power of magnets.
