Mad Catz outs new line of Tritton Xbox 360 gaming headphones at E3 2011

Mad Catz is on hand at E3 2011 and has unveiled a new range of gaming headphones for the Xbox 360 game console. The headphones are offered in three different models that have different features to meet the needs of different gamers. The headphones are all branded as Tritton offerings and are set to ship in time for the holiday season of 2011. The most interesting set is the Tritton Warhead 7.1 Dolby Wireless Surround Headset.

This headset has wireless connectivity to the Xbox 360 and supports secure live voice communications. The wireless tech is 5.8Ghz for clarity and the range is 33-feet. The headphones use 50mm Neodymium drivers and it has two hot-swappable battery packs for continuous use. The headphones will allow the gamer to flip a switch to be able to hear their voice in the headphones or not. Other features include heavily padding for comfort, an integrated EQ, and support for analog and digital audio.

The Devastator is a wireless stereo headset that looks like the Warhead only minus the surround sound tech. These headphones are run from a pair of AA batteries. The Detonator headset is a standard stereo headset with a wire that can also work with MP3 players and phones. It uses 50mm drivers and thick padding for comfort in long play sessions.
