Looks like Project Fi has the LG V35 ThinQ too

Right after AT&T suggested they had exclusive access to the LG V35 ThinQ, Google weighed in with a different message. According to Google, Project Fi also has the LG V35 ThinQ, and the LG G7 ThinQ too – and also the Motorola-made Moto G6. That's three new devices for Project Fi, all at the same time.

Google's Project Fi is a sort of carrier that's not exactly like AT&T, so it might just be that AT&T's exclusivity is amongst those major carriers they consider competition. The LG V35 ThinQ is set to roll with Google Project Fi "next month" alongside the LG V7 ThinQ, while the Moto G6 is available for preorder right this minute. AT&T does not offer the LG G7 ThinQ, but will have the LG V35 ThinQ.

The version of the LG V35 ThinQ Project Fi will be offering is the one with 64GB of internal storage. There's also a microSD card slot in there that'll allow up to 2TB of storage more – if you just so happen to have such a massive card. This device has 6GB of RAM as well, ready to provide all the RAM you could ever possibly need for the device's Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.

The LG V35 ThinQ is very similar to the LG G7 ThinQ in most respects. It does not, however, use the same display. Instead of a 6.1-inch 3120 x 1440 resolution 19.5:9 IPS LCD display with a notch, the V35 features a 6-inch 2880 x 1440 resolution 18:9 OLED. It still has fairly round rounded corners, but its still a rectangle.

All three devices roll with relatively large displays, expandable storage, and portrait mode-equipped cameras. That's what Google suggests are the important points for these devices in their Project Fi blog this morning. This is one of the biggest multi-device launches from Project Fi thus far – now, if only they could get all the phones the standard carriers refuse to carry – that'd be the real win.
