Logitech Wireless Mouse M560 is ambidextrous and designed for Windows 8

Logitech has been making some of the most popular mice, keyboards, speakers, and other peripherals on the market for a number of years. The company has mouse for just about every need and every user. Logitech has unveiled its latest mouse called the Wireless Mouse M560.

The mouse is designed to be ambidextrous allowing it to be used by right and left-handed folks. The mouse is also designed to allow users to take advantage of a fingertip or palm grip, whichever is more comfortable. The sides of the mouse have a rubber grip to make them comfortable for hours of use.

Logitech also equips the M560 with its famous hyper-scrolling mouse wheel making it easy to scroll through long web pages or documents. The M560 is also equipped with a Windows 8 menu button behind the scroll wheel offering one touch access to common Windows functions. The button provides access to things such as the Apps Switch and Charms Bar.

Logitech also equipped the M560 with thumb buttons that can be custom programmed using Logitech SetPoint software. The mouse is wireless and uses 2.4 GHz technology. It ships with a Logitech Nano receiver and gets power from a single AA battery. The mouse supports both Windows 8 and Windows 7. The mouse be available in the US and Europe this month for $39.99.
