LG gram 13-inch: maybe this is Windows' MacBook killer?

LG has quietly revealed the LG gram 13-inch, a laptop that runs Windows 10 and looks to take on the ubiquitous simplicity of the best-selling notebook in the industry. This machine has a 13-inch Full HD (1080p) display and a body that is 1/2-inch thin and weighs in at 980 grams. The outer bits are made from "durable magnesium alloy" and inside you'll find a newest-gen Intel i5 Core Processor. This device will come in several colors, one of which is Snow White – another of which is Gold.

We've already seen the HP EliteBook Folio "MacBook Killer", now it's time to see what LG has to offer. The LG gram 13-inch notebook will roll with multiple colors and a look that's extremely simplistic.

Memory inside this device is 8GB DDR3L 1600MHz with an L3 Cache 3MB. Also inside is a 128GBSSD (Solid-State Drive) SATA3, DTS Sound and 2x 1.0W internal microphones. Wireless communication is handled by Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (802.11 agn/ac, 2x2), 10/100 Megabit (micro-USB port with RJ45 gender) for LAN, and Bluetooth 4.0 + LE (Low Energy).

Around the sides you'll find one full-sized HDMI out, 2x USB 3.0, and a microSD card slot (that's SDCX). You'll find a headphone-out port, RJ45 Ethernet, and DC-in for power.

You'll be able to purchase this notebook for $799.99 USD immediately if not soon. Look for LG to push this notebook in a big way on in to Spring.
