Talk to your Blackberry

For those of you who love your Blackberry but hate the tiny keyboard, Sprint Nextel may have the answer.  Launched on Friday, their MobileVoiceControl records your spoken email and, in around a minute, transcribes it ready for sending.  Reuters managed 100% accuracy, although you're expected to speak relatively slowly and clearly.  $6 a month gets you basic email as well as text messaging, calendar entries, address book searches, Google searches and weather reports.

Currently it's only available on Sprint and Nextel smartphones, but we can expect it to filter down through the ranks by the end of the year.  Perhaps this heralds a new breed of keyboard-free instant messaging handsets?
