LG G Pro Lite Dual phablet features 5.5-inch screen and dual-core 1 GHz processor

The specifications for new LG Android-powered smartphone have leaked online. The smartphone is called the LG G Pro Lite Dual and it's a 5.5-inch screen phablet. The device should be a cheaper phone considering the not top-of-the-line specifications.

The smartphone's 5.5-inch screen uses IPS technology but will have a low resolution of 540 x 960. LG is also using a chipset that isn't exactly top-of-the-line either. While most new high-end smartphones are now coming with the Snapdragon 600, the LG G Pro Lite Dual makes due with a dual-core 1 GHz processor according to the leak.

That processor will be paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of integrated storage. As you expect with Android devices, it will have a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The device will run Android 4.1.2 with LG's customized UI laid over the top.

The phone will feature LG's KnockOn, Guest mode and other UI features. The smartphone's rear camera has eight-megapixels of resolution and uses a BSI sensor. The smartphone will also integrate an FM tuner and power will come from a 3140 mAh battery. The phone physically measures 150.2 x 76.9 x 9.5 mm and the weight is unknown at this time. The phone is expected to launch in Russia in the middle of October for RUR13,000, which works out to about $400 here in the US. That price is reportedly about half the cost of the LG Optimus G Pro in Russia.
