Let's Go: Pikachu, Eevee, Pokemon Quest arrive on Nintendo Switch

It seems that the Nintendo Switch game that all owners have been waiting for has finally been confirmed. OK, maybe that's a bit of a stretch but no Nintendo console has ever been deemed complete without a proper Pokemon title. Not a spin-off or mini game but an honest to goodness Pokemon RPG. Or at least a battle game. Now the Switch will have such and a bit more. Let's Go: Pikachu and Let's Go: Eevee has not only been confirmed, it even has a release date and features to make Pokemon fans drool.

The fact that it's full Pokemon game on the Nintendo Switch is probably enough to make fans swoon. But Nintendo fortunately didn't stop there. And it seems they pulled out a lot of stops for this Switch version of the game. It is deeply integrating the Switch's unique form into the gameplay and even has a new accessory in mind.

You can play Let's Go: Pikachu or Eevee with just one Joy-con or opt to play with a friend by handing them the other Joy-con. There's even a small Poke Ball Plus accessory you can use and "throw" instead of a Joy-con. The "Go" in the game's name is probably no accident, as there is a bridge between Let's Go and Pokemon GO, allowing players to trade Pokemon from the two games.

Let's Go: Pikachu and Let's Go: Eevee will hit stores on November 16, but you don't have to wait that long for a new Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Quest is now available and will deliver your favorite Pokemon in cubes. Yes, this is a mashup of Pokemon and everyone's favorite voxel game Minecraft.

It's probably not going to be to everyone's taste but it is at least free to try. And those who don't have a Switch but have patience, the game is coming to mobile as well next month. These two games alone, especially with the innovative new features on the Let's Go duo, could mean that Nintendo will have to ramp up Switch production this year more than they already planned.
