Lenovo ThinkVision X24 Full HD display loses the border

Lenovo has introduced a new display, the ThinkVision X24. This particular monitor features a 23.8-inch IPS panel and boasts Full HD resolution, something complemented by a wide viewing angle of 178-degrees and a variety of the most commonly used ports. The design itself has also received some attention, as well, with the most notable aspects including the near complete lack of a bezel and the use of what Lenovo calls a "unique" pre-coated metal surface tech for improved looks.

The ThinkVision X24 display features a 1920 x 1080p resolution IPS display with both HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity. The design is ultra-slim, measuring in at 7.5mm in the profile, something complemented by the borderless and ultra-light frame.

Says Lenovo, the X24 is the first monitor featuring a Neo-Blade panel and the use of PCM. The traditional rear cover typically used with monitors has been eschewed in favor of that aforementioned pre-coated metal tech (PCM). As far as more detailed specs go, the ThinkVision boasts a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 3M:1 dynamic constrast ratio.

The response time comes in at 7ms, while brightness sits at 250 cd/m2. The overall weight is moderate at 3.5kg, and the stand can be tilted. The price sits at $249 USD with shipping slated to start this upcoming May. Be sure to check out our Lenovo portal for more products, and hit up the CES 2015 hub for live coverage!
