Latios' Pokemon GO appearance rattles Mew Quest Seekers
Both Latios and Latias appeared in Pokemon GO on the 2nd of April, 2018, for the first time ever. These Pokemon are amongst the first Legendary Pokemon to appear in the game that were originally discovered in the Hoenn region – that's Gen 3. These Pokemon will appear in the game for a limited time, and they'll only appear in Pokemon GO Raid Battles while they're here.
The Best Pokemon against Latios
Users would do well to prepare for Latios and Latias as well as Mawile and Tyranitar, as the whole lot will be popping up in Raid Battles across the planet for the next several weeks. A list of Pokemon that do well against Latios and Latias is included below. Also remember: Mew might be helpful.

• Scizor
• Tyranitar
• Dragonite
• Articuno
• Gengar
• Mewtwo
• Lugia
• Gardevoir
• Absol
Latios is a Dragon and Psychic type Pokemon, which means it has the potential to be a devastating opponent. It rolls with a selection of moves that's not to be scoffed at. Those moves include Dragon Breath and Zen Headbutt for fast moves, and the charged moves Psychic, Dragon Claw, and Solar Beam. Psychic and Solar Beam are one-bar chargers, and Dragon Claw is 3-bars.
It's Legendary Time
This is the Pokemon GO "LEGENDARY YEAR" per Niantic – as such, we're expecting many more Legendary Pokemon popping up in the next few weeks and months. These Eon Pokemon, both Legendary, will appear in different regions first, then they'll switch. As such, you'll only really have HALF the time you'd normally have to catch either one.
Latias was scheduled for Europe and Asia from April 2nd until May 8th, 2018. Latios was scheduled for North America, South America, and Africa from April 2nd until May 8th, 2018. On May 8-9th, Latias and Latios will switch places, allowing everyone a bit of time to catch either. These Pokemon will be in their second regions until June 5th, 2018.

While you're rolling on quests, you might want to pick up a few oddball Pokemon – or keep the ones you've already got on-hand. Those include Slowbro, Lapras (with Ice), Jynx (with Ice), Granbull, Kingdra, and Cloyster (Ice.) These, too, will bring you much fortune right up against the Latios this month.
