Laptop HDD enclosure for $10.99

So if you just ordered a new hard drive for your laptop and are trying to figure out what to do with the old one, here is one possible solution. You can buy an $11 enclosure with free shipping and stick it in there.

Now I know that it says SATA in big letters on the top of the enclosure, but I assure you it works with both IDE and SATA. Also, you don't have to use an old drive in it, if bus-powered external drives just aren't big enough for you, or if you just want to make your own, you can order a new laptop HDD and throw it in this enclosure.

With the enclosure you get the connectors for both a SATA and laptop IDE drive, the USB cable, and a carrying case that has a small screwdriver in it for opening up the enclosure making it really easy to change out the drive inside. Like I said, its bus powered so there is no power brick or other adapter, just the USB cable, and for $11, you probably couldn't do much worse, however I just went to the site to order one and they are out, but if you call them up they might give you a date when they are getting more or give you a rain check on the discounted price since the drive is normally $14, and shipping is free with the deal too.
