JVC Victor unveils new dual iPhone and iPad docking station audio system

JVC has pulled the wraps off a cool new docking station audio system for the Apple iPhone and iPad. This sort of docking station isn't something new by any means, but this is the first system I have seen that will dock an iPhone and an iPad at the same time. That means you can charge both of the devices from one dock and play music from either using the audio system aspect of the JVC UX-VJ5 and VJ3 systems. The audio systems are offered in a few colors as well.

The system has a video out for shooting content to your TV and a PC input along with audio input and an integrated AM/FM tuner. The power output for the audio system is 15W per speaker. The difference between the VJ5 and VJ3 systems comes down the VJ5's CD player hidden under the cover behind where the iPad would sit.

The CD payer does support MP3 files on a CD so you can rip your music collection to a CD and play it inside the system. JVC will toss both versions of the audio system onto the Japanese market at the end of July or early August. The pricing is unannounced, but these don't look like something particularly cheap to me.
