JVC Everio X GZ-X900 hands-on video & sample footage

JVC announced their Everio X GZ-X900 camcorder at PMA 2009 today, and SlashGear's Daniel Lim was on hand to get some hands-on time with the 1080p mini-marvel.  After the cut, a video overview and tour of the new high-def JVC flagship, plus sample video Daniel shot at PMA.

Among the Everio X's numerous talents are full 1080p recording at 1,000 lines of horizontal resolution – close to the theoretical maximum of 1920 x 1080 Full HD – together with the ability to shoot 5.2-megapixel images while it's simultaneously recording video.  Alone, it's capable of 9-megapixel images, together with 120fps, 300fps and 600fps slow-motion video recording.

The JVC Everio X will be available in June 2009, priced at $999.95.  We're hoping to get one into review very soon, so we'll be able to tell you whether it's worth it.
