Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Concept to Go into Limited Production

One thing that we can count on each year at SEMA is seeing some very cool concept cars that we wish would go into production. Typically there isn't a chance of these concepts being made, like that Challenger GT AWD. Jeep has a very cool concept vehicle called the Wrangler Red Rock Concept and if you dig the Wrangler Red Rock you can buy one, if you hurry.Jeep has announced that it will build 50 Red Rock edition Wranglers that are based on the Red Rock concept. It's unclear just how much like the concept the production cars will be. Nothing about the Red Rock seems too outlandish, they should be identical.

The basis for the Red Rock edition is the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock. That means the SUV gets Dana 44 solid front and rear axles, Rock-Trac transfer case with 4.10 axel ratio, rock rails, and lots more. The interior of the Red rock has custom Katzskin leather in brown with silver trim and low gloss black accents with some Granite Crystal accents thrown in.

Jeep says that the inspiration for the Red Rock concept came from the desire to commemorate the 50th Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. Other feature of the Jeep include 17-inch beadlock wheels and 35-inch BFG K02 all-terrain tires, LED headlights and fog lights and a Winch along with special stickers and badging.
