iPhone 5S heads to NET10 and Straight Talk Wireless no contract carriers

TracFone is one of the oldest no contract wireless carriers in the industry. TracFone operates a couple other brands in the contract free realm including Straight Talk Wireless and NET 10 Wireless. Those two no contract carriers have announced that they will be getting the iPhone 5S smartphone.

The iPhone 5s will land on both services on December 13. The smartphone will be available exclusively at Walmart. The iPhone 5C will also be available on the carriers on December 13. Both devices will be available on the No-Contract 30-day Plans with Unlimited talk, text, and data.

Like most "unlimited" data plans today, there are limits to how much data you can use. The plans for the iPhone 5S and 5C include 2.5GB of data per monthly cycle at full speed. After you hit that 2.5GB limit, the speed is reduced for your device. The phones will operate on 4G LTE networks with both no contract carriers in areas with 4G coverage.

The iPhone 5S will sell for $649 on both carriers with 16GB of storage. The iPhone 5C will sell for $549 on both carriers. The iPhone 4S is also available for $449 with 8GB of storage. The iPhones aren't exactly cheap, but they are some of the most popular smartphones in the world. Check out our review of the iPhone 5S for more details.
