iPhone 4 Displays Having Discoloration Issues, Poor Reception, and Don't Drop Them Either

Unfortunately for the tech industry, no matter how many people praise your features, if when your product launches there's plenty of things bogging down its overall glamor, things can go bad. For example, the iPhone 4 was welcomed with open arms, especially with features like its Retina Display, but now that new models of the iPhone are out and about, it looks like not everything is so good.

According to some users over at Mac Rumors, and still more at the Apple discussion forums, it looks like their new gadgets are showing some discoloration in the Retina Display. It's not the most obvious thing in the world, but you don't have to look all that hard to see the yellow pigmentation "burned" into the screen. Perhaps not while in use it wouldn't even be noticeable, but we could see where this would be a troublesome situation while actually using the device.

Additionally, something that's not helping the situation at all, are the tips that we're getting over and over again, telling us that their iPhone's reception is severely hindered by owners holding onto the frame of their device. Holding the device near the top-half is making the bars drop like crazy, it seems, and making calls is far more difficult than it should be (no jab at AT&T intended).

And if you were curious as to what would happen if you dropped your iPhone 4, well, don't. Just take a gander at the video below and you'll be able to figure it out all on your own. Thanks to the guys at iFixYouri, we can find out how fragile the iPhone 4 really is. We'll say it again: don't drop it. And, for the record, you might want to insure your new toy, just so if something does happen, you don't have to pay upwards of $700 to fix it.
