iPad App Store pried open early: Netflix, ABC, NYT & more [Video]

Looks like someone has been digging around in Apple's iPad App Store database ahead of launch day, as AppAdvice unleashes not only a video highlighting more than 700 new titles, but a database of all 1,350 apps they reckon have been specially coded for the new tablet.  Among the mixture are an official Netflix app – which will allow resumed viewing from where you've been watching on your computer – and the NYT Editors Choice app.Video after the cut

Other highlights include an ABC player, which allows you to stream video from the network over WiFi.  Screenshots include Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy, and apparently the app itself will be free (since it merely brings all the content from ABC.com into an iPad-friendly format).

Netflix, meanwhile, will require a subscription be in place, but once you've got that sorted you'll be able to watch as many films as you like.  Unlike some of the Netflix implementations we've seen, users will also be able to browse the full catalog and add titles to their queue.
