Interstellar trailer brings Christopher Nolan to the apocalypse

Today Legendary Pictures, Lynda Obst Productions, Paramount Pictures, Syncopy, and Warner Bros. present a science fiction film teaser. The movie Intersellar will be directed by Christopher Nolan, the fellow who brought you Batman's Dark Knight trilogy, and it'll be about the possibility of the end of the human race.

It's the end of the world. It's not hellfire and brimstone, but an environment in which we've (somehow) invested so much into machines and entertainment that we've run out of food. The Earth can no longer provide humans (and we must assume animals) with what they need to survive.

Matthew McConaughey starts up this party with Michael Caine to back him up. The case for this film is so star-studded you'll be surprised you only see a handful of people for the first few minutes of this trailer.

Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Topher Grace, and Casey Affleck. Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, and none other than the lovely Ellen Burstyn. They're all here, and they're probably all going to die.

This isn't the same film as Daft Punk's Intersellar 5555, but it's certainly aiming to take on a scale just as large. This film will be arriving in November of 2014.
