Inkia 5- and 7-inch Atom MIDs with 3G, WiFi & SSD

If hump-day is treating you roughly, how about a few nameless Chinese OEM MIDs to brighten your mood?  Inkia International have thrust their latest 5-inch and 7-inch models into the limelight, each offering Intel Atom processors, 800 x 480 touchscreens and up to 32GB SSDs.

The 5-inch model, shown in gray, has a choice of Atom Z510, Z520 or Z530 processors, each with the US15W chipset, and measures 6.2 x 3.7 x 0.86 inches; it weighs 12.3oz.  Meanwhile the 7-inch red and gray model has a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor with the 945GSE chipset, measures 8.0 x 5.1 x 0.81 inches and weighs 1.5lbs.  Alternatively Inkia plan a VIA-based version of the larger MID.

Each has integrated 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, together with a 0.3-megapixel webcam; the smaller adds a 3.2-megapixel camera, stereo speakers and a microSD card slot, while the larger instead has an SD/MMC card slot, 10/100 ethernet and two USB 2.0 ports.  The likelihood is that Inkia are looking for other firms to adopt one or both of the MIDs and rebrand them; the cynic might say that an even stronger likelihood is that we'll never see either released in the US or Europe.
