Humble Freedom Bundle raises $4 million for important charities in just two days

It looks like the Humble Freedom Bundle has resonated with PC players. The massive collection of video games and books has managed to raise more than $4 million for three different charities – the ACLU, Doctors Without Borders, and the International Rescue Committee – in just two days. That makes it one of the most successful Humble Bundles ever released.

In the two days since it's been released, almost 130,000 bundles have been sold. Unlike Humble Bundles of the past, this one doesn't exactly allow you to name your own price. Instead, the floor price is $30, though you're welcome to pay more than that if you want to donate a little extra.

What you get in return for that $30 is a simply absurd number of games and a few audiobooks and ebooks to go along with them. There are quite a few indie gems to be found in the Humble Freedom Bundle, including The Witness from Jonathan Blow. That game alone goes for $30 on Steam, but when you toss in other fan favorites like Stardew Valley and Day of the Tentacle Remastered, the bundle becomes a lot harder to resist.

Unfortunately, the Humble Freedom Bundle is no longer quite as packed as it was when it was first introduced. A couple of games – Subnautica and Monster Loves You! – are no longer available to new customers, while Super Meat Boy is out of Steam keys. Even if you didn't get in early enough to secure copies of Subnautica and Monster Loves You!, this is still a pretty incredible deal.

However, at the time of this writing, the landing page for the Humble Freedom Bundle says that more games will be announced in four hours. Obviously, everyone who has already purchased the bundle will get whatever new games are added, so you don't have to worry about holding off on your purchase until these games are introduced. You've got just under five days to go before the Humble Freedom Bundle disappears, so if you want to buy, hop to it.
