As with Netflix, on-demand and live television streaming service Hulu has introduced a Downloads feature that enables certain subscribers to save select content for offline viewing.

The feature was announced on October 7 for the iPad and iPhone, and now the same feature is rolling out on Android phones and tablets.

Once it arrives, Android users who are signed up for Hulu's 'No Ads' plan can save select supported shows for offline viewing, including the company's original works like The Handmaid's Tale and The Act. The downloading option is also available for some third-party content, such as older seasons of shows like Family Guy.

As mentioned, you must be signed up for Hulu's more expensive 'No Ads' plan, which offers the same on-demand streaming content without the ample commercial breaks. This version of the service is priced at $11.99/month, which is double the cheaper $5.99/month basic (with ads) plan.
