Huawei Ascend P7 shown off in TENAA certification images

Huawei has been working on its new flagship smartphone for a while and some new images of the device have now surfaced. These images come from the Chinese TENAA agency and show the phone from most angles. We don't know what the specifications for the device are, but we can get an idea what the smartphone might offer from looking at the images closely.

The smartphone has a pair of flaps covering slots of some sort on the side near the power button. Those two flaps could be dual SIM ports for connecting the device to two networks at the same time. It's unclear if the smartphone has a dual glass design since we can't tell if the back is glass or shiny metal. it looks like glass in the image.

The iPhone has used a dual glass design before with a sheet of glass on the front and one on the back. That particular iPhone also had the dubious distinction of being able to have the back shatter in a drop. If the Ascend P7 has glass sheets on the front and the back, that won't be a great feature for durability sake.

One of the rumors about the smartphone has focused on the rear suggesting a dual LED flash among other things. These images clearly show a rear camera with a single LED flash. No details on specifications were offered along with the photos. Rumors continue to suggest that the smartphone will have a 5-inch full HD resolution screen, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. A 1.6GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor is also rumored.
