HTC Snap "Inner Circle" screenshots

Screenshots from the HTC Snap, the company's upcoming non-touchscreen Windows Mobile candybar smartphone, have emerged, showing the new Inner Circle feature.  Inner Circle allows messages from key, preset contacts to be filtered out at the touch of a button, allowing mobile users to readily access important information on the relatively small 2.4-inch 320 x 240 display.

According to SmartphoneDaily, the Snap's keyboard lives up to its BlackBerry-besting promise.  They describe it as "genuinely good" and "better, possibly, than [the] Nokia E71", itself a well-respected handset.  Inner Circle gets a dedicated key on the full QWERTY.

As for other specifications, the HTC Snap is a quadband GSM and dualband HSDPA/WCDMA handset with GPS/AGPS, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.  There's a 2-megapixel camera, trackball and a microSDHC card slot; it measures 4.59 x 2.42 x 0.47 inches and weighs 4.23oz.  European and US versions are in the works, the latter under the name HTC S522, and it'll go on sale over the Summer.
