HTC One V headed to several USA carriers

It appears that the HTC One V may be coming to more than just the one carrier that the HTC One X and One S have been attached to here in the USA, with Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and more up for grabs. HTC has communicated today that they're about to bring the least of these three titans to "a variety of US partners this summer" and will likely have essentially the same specifications as it has in the international edition we reviewed last month. What we're looking at is many of the same HTC One hero series features with a much lower cost and physical size as well as what very well may be a much higher adoption rate across the USA.

This device has a 3.7-inch display at 800 x 480 pixel resolution, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor inside. This device is not going to compete on the same level as the HTC One X or One S, instead aiming for the middle market where HTC is currently beating up the streets with several "Wildfire" models. As Ben Kersey notes in the review we've got of this device:

"So, is the HTC One V worthy of consideration given its features? It's a good all-rounder, and we'd go as far to say that the build quality is best in class, not to mention better than some more expensive phones thanks to the high quality materials and construction." – Kersey

We're expecting to see one or more of the different carrier-branded models of this device this week at CTIA. To see what we DO end up seeing at HTC events and beyond, feel free to hit up our [CTIA 2012 portal] and stick with us all week!
