HTC Desire C snapped and detailed

HTC is pressing ahead with its three phone strategy in the One series, with the HTC One V commanding the budget position. That doesn't seem to be stopping the company pumping out even more handsets, with new leaks showing there might be another cheap Android handset coming soon. Press shots of the HTC Desire C have emerged, and the handset seems to already be in the wild.GSMArena spotted that Vodafone Portugal has let slip press photos and official specs of the handset ahead of an official launch. The 3.5-inch handset will have a 480x320 screen, 600Mhz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a five megapixel camera, all running on Ice Cream Sandwich. Nothing that's going to set the world on fire, but it will most likely replace the HTC Wildfire as the cheapest phone the company offers. GSMArena's sources indicate the device will have a 1,230mAh battery and retail under €200 (~$257).

Not only that, but ITProPortal got their hands on some pictures of the phone in the flesh. It looks just like the official photos, bearing a resemblance to current HTC designs but coming in a smaller package and bringing over the three capacitive Android buttons from the One series. Judging by the large amount of leaks surrounding this device, we imagine it'll be announced shortly.
