HTC confirms Flyer follow-up landing in the UK

HTC has confirmed the follow-up to its Flyer tablet will be coming to the UK. HTC offered no firm timeline on when the tablet would hit UK stores, but insists that it will happen. Whenever the tablet does land, it would be the first new HTC tablet since May of last year when the original Flyer landed in the UK.

There are few details go on about the tablet this point with HTC saying the tablet will have unique selling point. Specifications are completely unknown other than is expected to run Android 4.1. HTC has launched other tablets around the world, but none have come to the UK since the Flyer.

When the Flyer launched it had some nice features that made it stand out in the tablet pack, including a digital pen that allowed people to write or draw on the screen. It also had a high-resolution seven-inch screen better than competitors. The main thing that killed the tablet on the UK market was the high price at launch of £600.
