HP unveils CW450, CW450t, SW450, PW550z, V1020h and PW460t digital cams and camcorders

HP is the largest shipper of computers in the world. The company also has a lot to offer other than computers with a line of digital cameras, printers and other tech gear. HP has pulled the cover off a slew of new digital cameras and camcorders called the CW450, CW450t, SW450, PW550z, V1020h and CW460t.

All of the cameras are point, shoot units ranging in price from $99 to $199, and are set to debut this spring. The CW450t ($109) and PW460t ($149) both feature touchscreen displays. The CW450t has a 2.7-inch screen and the PW460t has a 3-inch screen. Both have 4x optical zoom and store to SDHC cards.

The V5601u and V5560u are both digital camcorders with 3-inch touchscreens capable of 1080p video recording. The V5560u has a 5x optical zoom and sells for $199 with the V5061u selling for $169. The CW450 is the same as the 450t minus the touch capability and sells for $99. The SW450 has a 2.7-inch screen, 4x optical zoom, and sells for $129. HP's PW550z is a 5x optical zoom camera with a 2.7-inch LCD and sells for $149. The V1020h is a digital 720p camcorder priced at $109, this camcorder isn't set to launch until this summer.
