HP Pavilion dm1z Neo-based ultraportable quietly debuts

A new HP 11.6-inch ultraportable, the Pavilion dm1z series, has gone up for sale at the company's estore, based on AMD's Neo processors and offering up to 7hrs of battery life.  The HP Pavilion dm1z is a variant of the dm1 updated with AMD Vision technology back in May; it has up to 5GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB HDD/128GB SSD, and optional mobile broadband.

Standard connectivity includes WiFi b/g/n, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA, HDMI and audio in/out, along with ethernet and a 5-in-1 memory card reader.  Bluetooth is an option, as is an external optical drive, but a webcam and microphone are standard.  Graphics are courtesy of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 GPU.

The whole thing measures in at 11.4 x 8.03 x 0.78-1.20 inches and tips the scales a 3.24lbs.  It's available for order now, priced from $449.99.
